Olive seeds, which are a type of biomass, represent a valuable and renewable energy source with the highest calorific value among renewable energy options. Specifically designed for thermal applications, olive seeds offer approximately half the thermal energy output compared to oil heating. To illustrate, a consumer requiring one ton per year of heating oil would need around two tons of olive seeds to achieve the same result. Distinguished by a higher heating value when compared to sawdust, these olive seeds serve as a renewable and 100% eco-friendly fuel source. Derived as a by-product from the olive oil and olive table industries in Egypt, which is the largest olive table producing country, they find application in various heating scenarios.
